Persecution in Rwanda: Kagame to Close All Churches!

On thanksgiving, Kagame met with the press and this were his remarks when asked why he has ordered the closing of 10,000 churches in 2024, citing ‘safety ‘non-compliant’ and keeping imposing new burdens and new requirements on churches (Most congregation had worked hard to meet new requirements but still, they were not allowed to open).

KAGAME’S WAR WITH CHRIST’S CHURCH IN RWANDA CONTINUE!

ON NOVEMBER 27, 2025 KAGAME SAID: “If it were upto me, I wouldn’t even re-open a single Church… The church plays no role in the country development nor in resolving world war issues. Does the church contribute to the growth of job market? Churches are only full of predatory actors and most of churches are scamming and cheating. What I see is that the church is only a place full of banditry. Fighting with those bandits, I have no mercy for that!

You have been deceived by colonizers and you let yourself be deceived! Why are we even talking about churches? Go cultivate your lands, go and do farming. As for prayer, if you need to, pray from your home or over the phone! Don’t you know the origin of churches? In closing churches, we showed mercy, if we did not, we could have closed more churches.”

When asked about the overcrowding being experienced in the few open churches (About 10,000 churches were closed, and people now flock to the few open churches), Kagame said, “To solve the overcrowding issue, let’s close them all! We will close the ones that we allowed to remain open and as for the people, let them pray from their homes. These praying stuff… who has (bewitched you) Africans?“

Reverend Coleman’s Remarks
Mr Kagame, the right to worship, to open a church and to congregate does not come from you, it is a God given right to every human being – it is a gift to humanity. Thank you for testifying before the whole world that you are the man who has stolen the rights of all Rwandans. It will not end well with you because God will fight for His church. Like every thief, God will hold you accountable for stealing Rwandans freedom. Christ said, “I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH AND THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT.” (Matthew 16:18) You are here today but one day you will be gone and God’s children will congregate again soon in all freedom and liberty! Get ready Mr. Kagame, God will severely judge you for leading a nation like this for the past 30+ years; you have started a war with God and we will soon see who will win!”
