RWANDA DEMOCRACY: Besides Ex-Prime Minister Faustin Twagiramungu, no other candidate for Rwanda’s presidential election from the true opposition party has successfully made it to the presidential elections. Candidates are always arrested before election day. President Kagame wins always above 90% of the vote since 2003. Rwandan presidential aspirants from the true opposition parties have been arrested, thrown in jail and today they are not allowed to leave the country. Independent journalists who dare report the truth have either been killed, gone missing, or had to flee the country.
